• We will send you the application pack for you to read and consider. The host family contract must be agreed too.
• Application process does take a few weeks as we check your referees and police vets must be done before we come and visit you.
• At the time of home visit we are able to discuss the type of student that will suit your family and answer any questions you have.
• We may not be able to provide you with a student immediately, but we need to have our hosts ready to go as sometimes we get very short notice of a student arriving.
• This process might seem rather rigorous, but it is about the care and protection of the young people we are responsible for. It is also about your supporting you as you take on the responsibility of a young person from another country and culture. We welcome your phone call and look forward to walking through this process with you.
